The Sentinel™ Algaflex® TM is a Type 5 modular reinforced elastomeric expansion joint designed for large scale bridges, catering for movements up to 1600mm and expansion gap widths of up to 860mm.

The system is surface mounted and can be installed within the surfacing thickness (82mm minimum). This simplifies new build projects and makes the Sentinel™ Algaflex® TM joint particularly suitable for refurbishment projects, due to the minimal changes required to the concrete bridge deck.
