System Components
The Sentinel™ RAB joint system is a full depth Asphaltic Plug Joint installed after the carriageway surfacing, kerbs and verges have been completed. It is bonded to the steel or concrete deck within a suitable excavated trench over the expansion joint gap. The surface finish is flush with either side of the trench excavation and incorporates a skid resistant aggregate cast into the surface.
