Permare® special projects include an innovative slip resistant application to keep Universal Studios' Jaws ride on the right track.
The Jaws ride runs life-like sharks on submerged rails, which interact with the passenger vessel as it progresses around the ride. Owners Universal Studios sought the help of Stirling Lloyd to prevent the sharks slipping off their rails and spoiling the life-like effects of the ride.
Safetrack® at the American Adventure, UK
Safetrack® special projects include a polymer overlay application to the rails of The Runaway Train roller coaster at the American Adventure theme park. Safetrack® successfully cured slippage between the rails and the wheels of the roller coaster cars.
